Pacers says: After such great success in its inaugural year, the 2nd Annual Fairfax 4-Miler is bound to be the highlight end of the year event. Scheduled for Thursday, December 31st, and located in Old Town Fairfax, this event brings together our great running community to celebrate the coming new year.

And now Adidas is a proud sponsor of the 2009 event. Adidas will be giving away hooded sweatshirts to the lucky first 1400 runners to register for the race.

This year's beneficiary is the Fairfax Youth Police Club (FYPC). The Fairfax Police Youth Club (FPYC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of leadership, sportsmanship, and physical fitness, while encouraging and providing opportunities for youth to participate in a variety of sports.
