Triathlon Class for Beginner/Intermediate Triathletes: Creating a Training Plan

Durant Center (map)

Selected By: Darryel

Are you getting ready for your first triathlon or thinking about doing one? Are you a beginner triathlete looking for a little guidance? This meeting is for you. When training for triathlon, it is important to have a plan. The goal of this class is to demonstrate how to create a personal basic training plan. Even if you have already done a triathlon, but don't use a plan, this would be a good class for you. Bring all your questions. Experienced club members will be their to field questions and dispense their "wisdom."

This meeting is not just for beginners. Intermediate and experienced triathletes are encouraged to come. You never know what you might learn while discussing the sport of triathlon. We can also work on creating mentor/mentee relationships.

We will start the meeting at 6:30 and end around 8:30.

Thanks David for a very informative session. I think everyone who attended left with something they can use in their training plan for this year.

Great overview and discussion. I now have a clearer idea of how to get started. The more I read about training plans the more it makes sense. Thanks David for taking the time to explain.

I would recommend to any newbie.
