Being a cyclist (and former runner) with a sports med background, it'd be great to ride with other cyclists/triathletes
who know there is a difference between actually cycling and just pedaling around on your bike.

Hey Garret, sorry, bit of a change in plans. I thought my husband had to work but he's got some free time tomorrow so I'll have to raincheck the ride. The route sounds good, I will make a meetup for it for next weekend, weather dependent. Hope your legs feel stronger soon!
Hey Garrett, I am around Sunday. I just started volunteering with a tax clinic that helps low income folks fill out their returns. I'm near Quincy on the Custis trail. Is the W&OD near there? Also, did you add this as an event to the meetup group? If you didn't I'm happy to - maybe others would be interested in joining us. Looks like the weather will be nice!
hey Garrett, thanks for your note, and the welcome! Definitely up for some longer rides, though I have to say I'm no expert on the bike, just had a few tri training classes. I'm still looking for work so my schedule's pretty open (except Saturday afternoons, when I volunteer). I checked out the Custis -> Mt. Vernon trail a couple days ago, it's pretty. I'll have to look into the others you mentioned. Thanks for the suggestions!
Welcome to Strides Garratto! Activity suggestions are welcome under "Ideas"...join us in the fun!
hey garratto! nice to hear that you are compassionate towards animals to the point that you realize the best "protest" against animal cruelty is making the choice every day not to support factory farming/slaught
er. i am impressed! :) that's beautiful!
Hi, Garratto. If you're still looking for others to ride with, and looking for a challenging pace, come ride the Tuesday hill loop. Look on the OTTC calendar - rides meet at Belle Haven park, first lot, 6pm. Hope you'll make it to one.
Welcome
