Hello Matt,
Just got off the phone with my inside rep at Jamis. As of today, there are qty.of four (4) 58cm Comets in the NJ warehouse and zero (0) 56cm Comets in stock. The next shipment of Comets from the manufacturing plant tentatively arrives March 3rd. On that date only qty. of three (3) 58cm are arriving and seven (7) 56cm are arrriving.
I have put a 58cm on temporary hold because they are in limited supply and I'll stay in touch with my rep to see how fast the Comets are being ordered by other shops. These higher end bikes are manufactured in small batch quantities to anticipate demand. So, it is best to act sooner rather than later while we know quantities are strong. Otherwise, there will be a waiting period until the the next batch arrives in the US and is distributed to the 3 warehouses (CA, NJ, FL). It is possible to retrieve bikes from CA or FL but there is a higher shipping cost to the customer.
