I was asked this same question recently by one of the ass. organizers and I think the most important thing will be consistency, which I know is already being implemented.

Tuesday eve rides: who knew you could get in such a great hill workout in NOVA?! Dave took us on a great ride throughout the neighborhoods south of Old Town. I thought I was rollin out for a nice recovery ride and somehow was tricked into the Mountain Momma of Alexandria (that's a plug for Trina who is recruiting all naive and/or ambitious riders into the Mountain Momma Century Ride on Aug 1). Now that I know we have these rides scheduled on Tuesdays, I'll be sure to incorporate them into my training plan.

Wednesday swims?: it was fun to get our swim on with a couple folks from the group. Will that be a regular event? Always more motivation to get in the water when others are there too.

Sounds like there are some plans in the works for folks organizing long rides on Saturdays and then there is the recurring 8am run on Sundays. Once everyone gets into a routine and knows what they can rely on to incorporate into their own training plans I think this group will really start to take off.

Great suggestions. We do want to have a consistent workout routine. Is there someone willing to be the host for Wednesday swim workouts? I'll put it on the schedule. Thanks for the input.
