Hello,
I am thinking that I will do the Seagull Century ride in October any thoughts about which route you will do? They have two options this year, the Assateague Century Ride and the Snow Hill Century Ride. Let me know as I haven't done this ride before and could do either one. Dave |

I just signed up for the Assateague route. This is supposed to be the original course.

Ok-I will sign up for the Assateague route as well that way maybe we can form a group of riders who are interested in doing this ride.

FYI - if you haven't already done so, call now for your hotel reservation. I did this last year and had a blast. Would also recommend riding it as a group, there was heavy use of pace lines. Have fun!

If anyone (even your friends I haven’t met yet), needs a ride to Salisbury then let me know.
I will be leaving Friday at 5:15pm from my house in Arlington in my minivan and have room for more. I’ll be tent camping Friday night in Salisbury. After the ride, I’ll be returning Saturday night. Give me your cell numbers if you want to hook up out there. Steve C703-868-1556 |

I did Seagull in 2005, 2006, and 2009. One thing I've noticed in 2009 were the presence or more Triathlon/Time Trial bikes, including one Cervelo P4. In 2006, I think my brother was the only one with a Tri-bike.
My brother, his girlfriend, and plan to be riding tri-bikes to this year's 2011 Seagull. |
